Engineered for durability and performance, the shotgun is equipped with a range of corrosion-resistant internal parts, including a boron-nitride coated gas piston, magazine tube and hammer and sear, all designed to enhance reliability in harsh environments. To further improve performance, the 940 Pro Waterfowl models are built with a coated return spring tube, chrome-lined chambers and bores and a stainless steel return spring. These features provide added protection, making this shotgun the perfect companion for enduring wet, unforgiving conditions, whether in the blind, pit or upland fields.
