The Outdoor Edge Razor APX is a compact replaceable-blade hunting knife engineered for precision cutting and efficient field maintenance. The 2.5-inch blade is manufactured from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel, selected for corrosion resistance and ease of edge replacement, allowing consistent sharpness without field sharpening. Overall length and compact geometry support detailed field dressing and caping tasks while maintaining controlled handling. A push-button blade change mechanism enables fast, tool-free blade swaps with positive lock engagement for safe operation.
The handle incorporates temperature-resistant silicone scales over a lightweight frame, providing a secure grip in wet, cold, or gloved conditions. Two magnetized retention plates integrated into the handle store spare blades internally and are secured by the main assembly hardware, supporting rapid access while reducing the need for additional storage. The blade storage module can be removed to reduce carry weight for minimalist configurations. The knife is supplied with multiple replacement blades and a sheath, supporting organized, lightweight carry for backcountry and pack-based hunting use.
