The trigger shoe and safety tab are type III hardcoat anodized to meet the MIL-A-8625 standard, providing a tough, wear-resistant finish. The design includes a small indexing hook for consistent trigger finger placement, while the broad, flat face of the trigger promotes a straight, self-correcting rearward press. This design innovation reduces pre-travel by up to 20% (subject to frame tolerances) without compromising the firearm's safety features, resulting in a crisp, clean break and minimized over-travel.
