Are there any pictures of the inside? That’s a rather important detail.
Jeffrey on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the gun case and it is a very nice bag. Has plenty of pockets in front, has double shoulder straps on back side to carry like a back-pack, inside it has two Velcro straps to hop rifle in place as well as a pocket for the barrel and one for buttstock. Well padded case. Well worth the money.
Will a PSA AR10 with a 20” barrel and an ATN Day/Night scope fit in this bag? Thanks
Randy C on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No it will not if fully assembled. However, I do own both the bag and the rifle, not the scope. You could separate the upper and lower putting the lower in the outer smaller pocket and the upper with the scope in the main pocket of the bag. Now I do not own or know this scope. I use a large scope and it can fit if the upper and lower are separated as I described above. This is an excellent bag, however I got a bigger bag for my beloved PSA Gen2 20" upper and PSA Gen 2 lower. I advise you to do the same. If PSA offers this bag longer, buy it. I would.
Where is this gun case manufactured?
George B on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There are no labels or paperwork revealing place of manufacture. Most imports have to be labeled with origin details. Wherever it is made, it is first rate quality. I've not seen better.
Will a 16” barrel AR 15 fit ?
Steve on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the 16” fits with the stock collapsed. This is a great case. I carry my AR with 7 mags, my 9mm with 3 mags and even a little .22 survival rifle I have. Still room in the pockets for my barrel flags and other minor pieces.
Will this fit a ar with a spitfire 2 prism scope mounted on it?
Moose on Apr 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have a Vortex Strikefire II on a cantilever mount, and a Streamlight HL-X light on my M4gery. It fits just fine. There isn't enough room for a 30 round Mag to be in the Mag well, but I keep a 20 round in it and it's GTG.
Will this ever be in another color?
Luke R on Jun 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can have it in any color you want, as long as it's black.
Do you have a 40" or 41" case?
Scruff on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They have several 42 inch cases.
How does it hold up to a hot barrel?
Logan T on Jun 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I recently spent time at the range with my Daniel Defense v7. I finished up by doing very fast controlled pairs, so not exactly rapid fire mag dumps. However, after 60 or so rounds the barrel was smoking and was definitely too hot to touch. I set it on the bench for 5 minutes to cool down. The barrel was slightly cooler, but still nothing I would want to touch for more than a second or two. I stuffed it in the bag as-is and it was just fine. No melting or damage to anything on the inside or outside of the bag.
Can the main compartment be locked with a padlock? Can the zippers be locked?
Tom M on May 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The zippers have loops that can be secured with a small lock similar to a TSA lock you would use on luggage. A larger padlock is overkill as it likely is too heavy and the zipper loops are not cut resistant.
Will the bag fit PSA AR 10 with a 18” barrel?
Armando G on Apr 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it will. And you can always take upper off. Has Velcro straps inside to hold tight.
Very nice case..
will this hold a scoped M4 ?
chris g on May 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It holds my 18” PSA ar15 with a large scope fairly well. Not as tight as some others but I have had no issues with the rifle shifting around in the bag. Off the top of my head I think my scope is a 2-16x50m?
Would an AK fit in this case?
Timothy W on May 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If the overall length is 36 in. Or less it will, any longer and it will not fit.
Are the backpack straps removable?
Steven on Jun 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are. It’s the exact same back as some of the other styles like a Dragos. It’s literally the exact same bag you get from several other vendors. Just says palmetto state.
How high is the case, 36" by ?
Mitch M on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I measured about 36 x 12. It holds my mid length flat top carbine with a Vortex Strike Fire II on a cantilever mount with a 20 round Mag inserted in the Mag well. It won't take it with a 30 round Mag.
How high is this case, 36" by ?
Mitch M on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Roughly 12 inches.
How tall is it? How long of a gun could fit in it diagonally?
Jared H on Feb 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Same with my AK47, fits like a glove. Has enough compartments to store mags and other accessories.
I'm looking into this bag but my only concern is that with a scope and the staps looking so lose fitting I'm worried about the rifle flopping around in the bag? and id love to carry my pistol in it too.
tylerjon22 on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I own 8 of these bags. That should tell you something. They're roomy. have several compartments, and are strong enough to carry just about any extras that you want. If anything sometimes they can get to heavy. For the money you can't do better. Bag has lots of padding to protect rifle and scope.
Will a scoped M&P 10 18inch barrel fit in this? Will the mag pockets hold 308 mags?
John S on Sep 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Measure the collapsed length of your rifle and compare to the specs of the gun case.....simple enough. The mag pockets are large and I think plenty big enough for your .308 mags....especially since you probably are using the common 20 round mags. Hope that helped!! Good carry bag by the way!!
Why, Above All Else, Is This Rifle Case, Being Sold by PSA, MADE IN FRICKIN CHINA.....???
I Mean I Would Even be Willing to Pay A little Bit More for a Rifle Case "That's Made In The GOOD OL USA".... !!!!!!
Dandydon69 on Sep 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: DandyDan, I agree. ,,,to a point.
I'd rather the bag were made in the US but there is no way that any retailer could hit a realistic price point when everybody else is selling imports.
I do have a 42" US made bag which I ended up paying way too much for (different vendor before I met PSA). Would I buy my US bag again? ,,,or would I hold my nose and buy another import bag from PSA for a third of the cost. Uh-oh, I gave that one away.
Is this bag made in China?
Angel C on May 4, 2018
Was this shipped in a discrete box with no logos or markings? Or is it clearly cardboard box with PSA/manufacturers markings on the box (other than the shipping label)? I'm only asking because I'm thinking about buying it for my brother but he lives in an apartment complex where all packages are delivered to the leasing office. The local culture is not freedom-friendly.
DDonlin on May 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine came in a plain brown box. It didn't have the PSA logo on it.
Will my AR-15 fit in here ? I live in New Jersey and the stock is fully extended and can’t be shortened according to New Jersey law .
Poppy on Apr 22, 2019
What is the approximate inside width of the bag?
Brother Love on Jun 17, 2018
Will this case hold a m1a with scope, no colapsable stock?
Eddy. on Apr 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Full size? Not a chance. Scout, probably. SOCOM, definitely.

This is way more solid than I was expecting. Picked it up for $39 and was expecting as such. What I received would be closer to $85 or higher form a box store. Compartments were well thought out: two outer pockets fit exactly 5 pmags each and the center fits my ear muffs perfectly. Plenty of opportunity to slip a pistol inside. Nice craftsmanship at an amazing price.

Above & Beyond
Okay, so it's my 1st AR case, BUT I REALLY dig it. Seriously it was above and beyond any expectation I had for a $40 soft case. Nice!

Great bag
Very durable with plenty of room for a day-long adventure on the range or field. Liked it so much I bought another just in case I had another pack mule :)

nice soft case
seems well made, have a PSA 16 inch m4 carbine with carry handle scope mounted on handle, fits fine. six 30 round mags and three 25 round 22lr mags, cmmg conversion also. five boxes of 22 lr , one and half boxes of 5.56. plenty of room for other stuff also. stiching seems good, shoulder straps look good also. not sure about leaving a high dollar optic on the rifle . i would recommend this case. a bunch of compartments.

Sturdy but heavy
Too many straps, fasteners, etc. Making it simpler would make it better.
