Crafted of anodized, hard coated aircraft aluminum, these rails have a proprietary barrel nut that bolts to the rail for a positive lock.  Features built in QD sockets.

Please inspect the product for any defects before installation or modification.  The rail is not returnable once installed or modified.

Installing a barrel nut on an upper requires a few special tools and a knowledge of the AR15 platform.  We recommend to have the rail professionally installed by a qualified gunsmith.

slim quad rail
This rail is slim compared to most all other picatinny quad rails. So it is relatively more ergonomic to grab. with ergo ladder rail covers (ladder covers are necessary or gloves!) it feels good in hand. It is STURDY basically no flex at all there is a good amount of thickness to the material. Seems like they were going for a very hearty design and it does seem pretty bombproof but mean's it is not a lightweight rail. Overall that doesn't bother me too much because I have it on a 12" barrel and the weight helps keep me on target and I would not want to use a muzzle brake on a 12" upper. The two QD sockets on each of the sides are a nice feature and the slim-ness despite the weight makes my other rifle with a quad rail seem way too big around. It has a big barrel nut and the rail is secured by 6 fairly large screws. It's not going anywhere.
