Our Savage Pre-Fit carbon fiber barrels are engineered for precision and performance, offered in select calibers, lengths and twist rates with a standard straight taper contour. Each barrel arrives threaded and chambered for straightforward installation; simply spin it onto your action, set the headspace with gauges and tension the barrel nut for a secure fit. To ensure compatibility, measure the length of your factory barrel nut: the factory "small shank" barrel nuts measure 7/8 inches long, while "large shank" barrel nuts measure 5/8 inches long and are not compatible with our barrels.
