BEST ANSWER: Commercial-spec buttstock tubes, in which the buttstock goes around to attach to the rifle, have a diameter of 1.168”, while the Mil-spec is slightly smaller and has a diameter of 1.148”. A buttstock designed for one size tube will not work on the other.
Will this tube work with a Franklin binary trigger and buffer spring assembly?

BEST ANSWER: if its made for a carbine length system and not a rifle length it should work just fine. A rifle length buffer tube is longer and requires a longer buffer spring.
Is this compatible with carbine and rifle stocks?

BEST ANSWER: A2 fixed stocks need a longer buffer tube and heavier buffer, or the rifle length gas system won’t cycle properly

My buffer tube don’t have the dry film lube As advertised. so I don’t know if it’s even mil-spec 7075 T6 aluminum. I use the buffer tube in a freedom M4 upper build I got on sale. so doesn’t affect me as much If it’s 6061 T6 Alunminum.
