Is the opening of the rail wide enough to put a suppressor on?
Tim D on Mar 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, the hand guard is VERY slimline, but it’s also excellent for gripping. I would suggest going for the 8.5” barreled kit that has the 7” handguard if you want to run suppressed. Unless you are running an integral or a pinned/welded suppressor, save yourself a lot of headaches trying to get the suppressor on and off by making the barrel at least 1/2 to 1” longer than the hand guard (check you suppressor manufacture for mounting requirements....they can differ between direct thread and a quick attach mount).
Will you be offering this in a 5.56 caliber and a pistol kit soon?
Vj F on Jan 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Too small in diameter to accommodate pretty much all the standard 30 cal suppressors I know of

Is this a reliable shooter un-suppressed as is?
Johnny W on Apr 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No. I have not been able to get it to function properly. It will not chamber the next round
is the barrel already threaded for a suppressor?
mdean94 on Jun 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it comes threaded 5/8 x 24 which will fit most 30 cal cans for direct thread and any comps, flashiders, etc.
Can I just bolt this to my Palmetto State Armory pistol lower and be ready to shoot with a magazine?
Mike M on Jan 26, 2019

What gen lower best fits this bcg?
Peter D on Feb 23, 2019
Is the flash can truly solid, and can it be shaved down/reduced t accommodate an afg-2 foregrip adapter? So far nothing will fit as the rail appears to be a slim version and the gas block and flash can prevent the attachment of M-lock accessories.

100% Satisfied Customer!! Every bit as As reliable as my Armalite
I Recently Purchased the 300 blackout upper along with a AR9 upper. I waited to review till I sent over 1000 rounds through them both. I want to start by saying, I found PSA by accident in searching for a different manufacture. I decided that being the price they were, I didn't have a whole lot to lose being it was half the price of the Brand I was originally interested. I took both to the range after initial cleaning. I mounted the 300 on a Ruger 8500 lower and put a brand new T1 micro sight on out of the box, and installed a 4.6oz spikes buffer( used stock spring) I was already impressed with the craftsmenship, but looks don't mean everything. From the first round out of the rifle this upper reciver worked flawlessly. It was dead on @35yrd with 0 adjustment and stayed there. After break in I've sent close to 1000 rds through this upper and shoot it about 3 times a week, I have been so highly impressed at it's reliability. I'm a 100% satisfied and would recommend to anyone. I am a Proud Palmetto State Arms customer and will be returning for more in the Future. I also purchased a 10.5 AR9 upper and am just as happy with its dependability.

Light weight
Very nice build, bolt and bolt carrier smooth, matched up with a mill spec lower, not shot it yet but I’m sure everything is fine.

The upper is as accurate and handy as I thought it would be, and the 300 blackout round is really growing on me. My particular upper the handguard slides forward when I take it to the range and shoot it. Creating a gap between the receiver and the handguard. I have torqued it but it continues to slip only about a quarter inch, but it shouldn’t slip at all.
