William P on Jul 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: no
Can you put a 7.5" PSA 300bo upper (17" length) on this as a pistol, or will it become NFA?
Bobbyjoe G on Jul 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: its a pistol no matter what upper you put on it
Does this have the premium bolt carrier group or the standard?
Alexander B on Jun 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is a lower assembly. The BCG is not included in a lower assembly. The BCG is part of your upper assembly. So the answer to your question is "neither".
Is this for 5.56 or 9mm?
Randal on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mil-spec AR-15 lowers can be used for several calibers, 9mm included - if you use the correct magwell adapter for your mags (and have corresponding 9mm upper).
Multi-cal means any upper designed for the AR-15 platform; 5.56, 300 AAC, 22LR and even .410 shotgun upper if you can find them available.
There are dedicated 9mm lowers that need no adapter, but these work for 9mm with the right mag configurations also.

Robert on Aug 9, 2019
Does this have to be shipped to an FFL?
David D on May 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Of course, it has the lower receiver which is the gun according to the ATF
I purchased a 9mm 9" upper. In reading the description it says multi in the caliber section. Does that mean it is compatible with the 9mm upper or should I wait for the AR-9 version to come in stock?
Kilted F on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can use this for 9mm with mag block - assuming it has the un-notched hammer.
That goes for pistol or SBR, and also doesn't prohibit using as 5.56 pistol once you've attached an upper. ATF says It just can't go from pistol to rifle once it's had a pistol upper attached.
Will this fit on a DD MK18 complete upper?
Holden J on Jan 14, 2019

Perfect
This is the absolute perfect brace if you want to build a pistol its very sturdy and adjustable. The trigger is amazing with no take up a clean break and great reset. Cant find anything to complain about with this lower. It pairs up tight with my psa 8.5" mlok upper.

Great lower
Had this lower for 4 years now and haven't had a single issue. Shot alot of steel and brass case. Could use a new trigger thou and the brace is a little heavy. Also the buffer tube gets loose after 300ish rounds(need to get the tool for that). Overall PSA did a great job!

I love it
I love how easy and smooth the adjustment is after a dab of oil. If you're into the braces, you'll love this. The lower is standard PSA. For the money you get a very nice set up that you can work with and doesn't leave you wanting to dump more money into it after the first time you shoot it. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Go read Robert Nunamaker‘s reviews on this. That hero is so confident in this product that he runs a BSA airsoft optic on his gun. I bet the “high risk” security agency has no issues with that as long as he’s out there killing bad guys :D Thanks for yer service Rob

Excellent value trusty functionality!
I am so pleased with the tiny space this takes up that the enhanced trigger group almost takes a second place to how handy and light it is. I've been a bolt gun predator hunter for 40 years and only recently became interested in this platform. One of my cronies broke tradition with a "name brand" 16 inch big box in 5.56 and as fun as it was to shoot, none of us could shoot it well. Careful reloading yielded only moderate results. But I'm old and intrigued, so decided a light weight 8.5" in 300 BO coupled with this lower might heal my hiking and improve the on target performance impression of this platform . PSA supplied both. On time. Out of the box, with the cheapest (I need the brass) factory rounds, 4 guys shooting this off-hand with a less than ideal reflex on top, were shooting sub 2" groups at 100", over and over and over and...you get the idea. Buy this lwr! Thanks PSA! Great work!
