Is it a 55.6?
Matthew W on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It will work for 5.56mm. It is marked "multi" so you can use it for 300 black out, 9mm, etc as well
Is this considered a rifle or pistol lower? Can it be used for a pistol build?
Mithrandan M on Jul 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It can be either. If you put a pistol buffer tube on it, it is a pistol lower. If you put a carbine / rifle buffer tube it is a carbine. Otherwise there is no difference between the two other than the upper.
Will a 5.56 lower work for a .224 Valkyrie build?
Edgar C on Jul 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don’t know for certain, but I think it would, I do know it will take the 300 blackout, thanks

Good to go and then some.
Looks and works just like a Colt or Bushmaster lower as far as I'm concerned. But cost a lot less. Used to be one had several uppers for each lower. Now, it makes sense to just buy a lower for each upper. As Tom Bowers says, these ARE the good old days. MAGA

Just get one already!
These are some of the best bang for the buck stripped lowers on the market. I have bought a half dozen over the last few years and they have all been good to go. I normally can't even find the "blemish". Palmetto is putting out a great product for a price that you really can't beat.

Blemished? I can't find any
Bought this a little over a year ago. Very happy with my purchase. Well made and fits perfectly. This was used in my first build of an AR15, everything went together very smoothly and my weapon shoots as well as I could wish.I recommend this to anyone looking for a place to start their own build.

!00% satisfied Perfect MINT Lower my first
I purchased 3 lowers all 3 arrived packaged very well. No BLEM that I can see if it even mattered. Assembled like a dream with upper build kit. Very nice very accurate and very affordable. Whole rifle cost about $425 shipped to build. A couple of $8.00 magazines and you are ready. You Tube has hundreds of build videos making it very easy to assemble. I will be purchasing additional items.

Excellent buy perfectly functional looks great
This has got to be one of the best buys I've ever made. The only "blem" I could detect was that the hole for the safety detent wasn't drilled all the way through causing the detent not to drop in. But a few seconds with a 9/64" drill took care of that and the detent pin dropped right into place.

Grab one or a few of these - you might have to a little minor work but it will be well worth it.

Great price ok fitment
I really couldn't tell where the blemish was. It's a great lower for the price that's for sure. The trigger set and stock fit fine. The take down pins didn't fit at all. Had to drill out the holes to make them fit. This is without the upper installed. Then when I went to out the upper on had to drill out the upper to get it to fit. Once that was done. Everything worked fine.

Great Value
Note it state the serial number starts with LW. It did not. It started with PA. I have one with LW but this one came from a different lot. This is fine. At first glance it looks flawless. However if you do look closely there are a few tiny imperfections with the aluminum during the molding process. However the finish does not have any imperfections on it. In order to find the aluminum imperfections one has to look very closely. If you were going to build one for fun in recreational use them this would be a perfect buy for you. Great quality product. I was very happy with the timely shipping it arrived within three days of purchase to my FFL dealer.
