Add To:

Lower: The 7075-T6 forged lower receiver is hard coat anodized, and accepts standard AR-15 fire control groups. The extended magazine release is outside of the trigger guard for safety, which allows for an AK-style release movement but also features oversize side paddles for fingertip release by the trigger finger. The KS-47 G2 receiver also accepts standard AR buffer tubes. The KS-47 G2 lower has steel reinforcements to accept AK style surplus magazines including drum-style.  This Gen2 design features a PA-10 carbine buffer spring and heavy H1 buffer to ensure reliable operation with a wide variety of aftermarket and surplus magazines. This lower is finished with a Magpul Grip, SBA3 Adjustable Brace, and Mil-Spec Buffer Tube. Through extensive testing, we have determined that we can only guarantee the reliability of the KS-47 G2 platform with the PA-10 carbine buffer spring and heavy H1 buffer.  The KS-47 G2 Lower will accept most aftermarket fire control groups (Geissele, etc.). However, due to the magazine catch geometry, one piece drop in triggers such as CMC style triggers will not function in KS-47 G2.

Can you use any 7.62x39 upper on this lower?
Anthony on Feb 12, 2019
What type of uppers will fit this lower?
Mike S on Feb 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I can tell you from direct experience a Bear Creek upper will not work on these KS-47 lowers. The lower and upper will go together but you won't be able to insert any magazine into the weapon. Like everyone else I was hoping this would work having already 2 other uppers in this caliber from 2 different manufacturers.
What uppers are compatible with the KS-47 lower?
Daniel S on Feb 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You can milled out a dpms lo pro upper receiver to accept all style mags. I have done this twice.
Will your KS-47 lower work with a PSA AR47 upper?
Hayden O on Feb 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No. Only KS-47 uppers
When will this item be back in stock?
Joseph G on Feb 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Right now, at this moment.
Will this lower fit a standard mil spec side charging upper?
Aaron M on Mar 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, the upper is not mil-spec. The uppers is a different breed only made by PSA for the KS-47 lower.
Any idea if these work with US Palm mags?
James on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: PSA states this lower works with a wide variety of aftermarket and surplus magazines. You may want to call or email PSA to be sure.
Will this use Russian ammo?
Jay_Jdub on Apr 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is yes and no. Not Recommended. BUT The neat thing about these lowers is they use regular AK style magazines. Both metal and plastic. All the ar makers do not guarantee the use of surplus or (Steel cased ammo) The Primers are harder than reload able ammo. You may need to get a Wolf extra power hammer spring or make sure your upper has ans enhanced firing pin not trigger (a little longer) to use Russian ammo.
If you have an ar style 7.62x39 that shoots 96 out of a 100 steel case Russian ammo I think that is acceptable at the range but use brass for home defense?
You have to use Palmeto matching upper with this lower.
Will it take standard ar upper?
Zach b on Mar 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They will pin together but you cant insert a magazine far enough for it to seat.
The ak47 mags and ar15 mil spec uppers do not make a nice fit
You have to use a KS47 upper with this lower. Unless you have one heavily modified and there is not enough meat on even billet ones that I have seen to do this.

Does the lower include a magazine?
Shawn on Feb 12, 2019
Does this come with a magazine? I'm guessing no, but figured it was worth asking
Jayson m on Jul 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: A magazine will need to be purchased separately as they are not included with lower receivers.
Iā€™m not planning on building a pistol with this lower. Can it be registered as other?
Hadrian G on May 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I'm not ATF, but pistol lowers can be used with rifle length uppers, just not the other way.
Is this a complete lower?
Curious G on May 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, ready to pin to KS47 upper
Left hand ar platform pistol caliber ? Please !!!!!
Lucky on May 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I'm a lefty, (and have a lefty AR from another company). I really didn't have any issues with this in righthand configuration.

Works well - reminder - brace is not really a stock :)
I just got one of these and put an 8.5 inch upper on it. It ran great. The one thing I noticed is that recoil is noticeable on a short barreled pistol build with this. That isn't a surprise, but it is worth noting that while the brace works great to provide a steady aim point. Recoil isn't as distributed as it would be with a "real" stock. As such, it delivers a bit more of a "punch" than a stock would because the actual point of contact with your shoulder is smaller. I'd absolutely get this again, and compared to other braces that are out there, this one is really good.

Goes bang, can't complain!
Bought the SBA3 pistol lower to use with my future pistol upper. It showed up with a standard M4 stock. A couple emails back and forth and PSA had the SBA3 shipped out 2 days later. Can't complain there. I ended up pairing this with the 16" KS47 upper and had zero issues after about 100 rounds, once I figured out what mags it liked. It will not chamber a round with Tapco mags and some Tapco mags wouldn't fit/seat because they are too wide. I had zero issues with Magpul and miscellaneous steel surplus mags. The mag issue is honestly not a big deal to me as I have enough mags that work to not mind. Put in a Larue trigger so I can't speak to the trigger in this build, but my past experience with them has been very good. Rock solid lock up with KS47 upper. My one complaint would be the design of the trigger guard, it is very AKish with somewhat sharp edges and depending on what grip you use, my finger would kind of wdge between the top of the trigger guard and my grip. This wedging/irritation was most pronounced with the B5 Type 23 grip and was much more comfortable when I installed a Magpul K2 grip as it created a larger finger gap/relief. Overall, I'm happy and I would recommend this platform to others! Can't beat PSAs reputation and pricing!
