This platform is built around a 6105 monolithic upper receiver designed to be compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver. The PSA JAKL offers a buffer system that is fully captured in the upper receiver, shortening the overall length of the firearm.
Upper: The PSA JAKL features a long-stroke piston design with a Carpenter 158 bolt and 4340 carrier that are an AK/AR hybrid. Our side charging handle is ambidextrous, allowing the user to change positions to the left or right side of the receiver without the use of tools. Equipped with a toolless 4-position gas block, this feature offers the ability to quickly adjust your gas block by hand when needed. Field stripping and removal of the JAKL carrier, recoil assembly, and sled assembly can all be done without tools for effortless cleaning.
Lower Build Kit: In this kit, you will find everything you need to convert your AR-15 Mil-Spec lower into a PSA JAKL Pistol Lower. Featuring a Classic A2 grip and our enhanced polished trigger (EPT) which helps reduce pull weight, and is built to last. Also included are the JAKL stock adapter assembly & JAKL proprietary bolt catch that are required for your lower to function with our PSA JAKL upper assemblies.
*The included Blue Loctite® must be used for the threaded adapter and adapter screw to avoid backing out during the use of the firearm.

Must be used with JAKL buffer system found on PSA JAKL lower or lowers built with a PSA JAKL lower build kit. Failure to use the PSA JAKL proprietary buffer system may result in damage to the JAKL upper and lower.

Palmetto State Armory firearms are covered by an industry-leading Full Lifetime Warranty. This extends beyond the original purchaser. We want the person who bought a great quality firearm at an excellent price to have comfort in knowing that, if an issue arises due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will make it right, consistent with this warranty.
We strive for excellence all the way through production and hope customers never have to use this warranty. We also pride ourselves in a 99% non-repair/non-return ratio, but this warranty is here for peace of mind so that the customer can be confident in their purchase.
For the Life of Our Product
Firearms and parts manufactured by Palmetto State Armory are backed by our Full Lifetime Warranty. Our PSA manufactured firearms and parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for the serviceable lifetime of the firearm or part. The liability of Palmetto State Armory under this warranty shall be limited solely to the obligation to repair the defect, replace the firearm or part, or provide a refund, and to pay transportation and insurance charges for any return of the firearm to the owner for a rightful warranty claim. This warranty is transferable for the serviceable lifetime of the firearm or part.
What We Don't Cover
This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear or any damage resulting from careless or criminal handling, abuse, neglect, corrosion, unauthorized or improper modifications, including modifications using non-PSA or otherwise incompatible parts, unauthorized or improper repairs or adjustments, use of improper, substandard, reloaded, or defective ammunition, or other unauthorized or unreasonable use of the firearm or firearm part. Palmetto State Armory disclaims all responsibility and liability for any damage caused as a result of third-party accessory use.
This warranty is offered solely to individual consumer (civilian) customers. It does not apply to government or non-civilian customers. This warranty is valid only for residents of the United States (excluding territories) and applies only to firearms and parts purchased, located, and used within the United States. We do not accept returns for, and will not repair or replace, any firearms or parts purchased, located, or used outside the United States.
Palmetto State Armory, in its sole discretion, will determine if a particular issue or condition is covered by this warranty.
Initiating a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please use the Contact Form and select "Problem with a PSA Product" as your Contact Reason. Warranty claims must include a completed RMA form in the box with the returned firearm or part. All complete firearms need to be returned in full for repair. Replacement parts will not be issued or sent to the customer. The firearm or part concerned must be shipped using the prepaid label that our representative emails to you. Palmetto State Armory will pay shipping and insurance charges for the return of a firearm or part to its owner or FFL, if the related claim is a proper claim for warranty work. If Palmetto State Armory is unable to fix the original serial number, a new one will be sent out but must go to an FFL for transfer back to the customer. Another background check will be completed at the time of transfer. Palmetto State Armory is not responsible for transfer fees at the FFL.
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and Palmetto State Armory's entire liability for any breach of this Full Lifetime Warranty. Palmetto State Armory shall not under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This Full Lifetime Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
