Solid AR
This was my first AR purchase way back when, and my first purchase from PSA.

My family kept telling me to check PSA out but at first I wasn't interested. I figured since the price point on these rifles were so much lower than the big boys, PSA must be cutting corners in quality.

I had my heart set on the M&P Sport II at the time and watched some YouTube comparisons. I was surprised to see this rifle beat the Sport II in a head to head comparison.

I then read up on PSA as a company and their business model to better understand the pricing. Most parts made in house, no extravagant marketing budgets, etc., all leading to lower production costs and in turn, lower prices for customers. Nice, that makes sense to me.

Once I learned a bit more about ARs in general, I was able to compare the specs and concluded that the PSA rifle's barrel, free-float handguard and picatinny rail were better features that don't exist on the Sport II.

I now own both and enjoy shooting both, but I made the right choice in getting this PSA rifle first.

I've purchased from PSA several times now and am always happy.

My first AR purchase.
A great deal especially with the M-LOK Rail. I added mag pul front and rear sites. Also red dot Sig Sauer. I sighted the rifle so only shot about 30 rounds. No issues and I shot cheap monarc rounds. This is my first rifle but I can tell a better trigger would make things easier to target. Am I complaining, no, I am slowly gaining experience. A great first purchase.

I have never owned an AR before. That being said I wanted something inexpensive but quality. After researching several different companies trying to find the right AR to buy. I found this. It came quickly. After I got it in I installed a set of Magpul MBUS sights, polished the trigger group and currently run it this way. The build quality was great and I have not had any issues with the rifle to date. I use this AR for self defense, plinking and hunting. It always stays beside my bed at night and in my truck during the day. I have had it in the mud and yet it always seems to do the job when I need it to. Very pleased with the gun and am going to buy my kids one in the near future. 2/18/2020

Quality rifle at an affordable price
Last year I was in the market for my first AR15. I had done countless hours of research reading articles, watching Youtube videos, finding threads on Reddit, and of course dabbling at the range with a few AR's I rented. I ultimately landed on the ultimate budget rifle with PSA. Boy, I was surprised with the quality of the rifle out of the box. Sure, the furniture isn't anything to write home about, but the Mil-spec set up is great to work off of. My whole plan was to buy something that wasn't going to be an entire paycheck, but that I could buy then spend money on the upgrades and learn how to DIY and understand the platform as I went - and that's exactly what I did. All upgrades were done by me by watching videos. I've shot probably close to 1000 rounds in my rifle since and I have only had one FTF and it could've been the ammo, but no jams or misfeeds. I've spent close to $500ish in upgrades, both aesthetic and functional, which you still wouldn't be able to get with a $1000+ rifle out of box. In the end, I am very happy with my purchase from PSA and cannot speak highly enough about this product. It doesn't have the name Daniel Defense, Savage Arms, Bravo Company, etc, but it sure shoots just like they do at a 1/3 of the price.

Upgrades I've done so far:
LaRue MBTS2 trigger
Midstate Firearms PVD Gold BCG
Radian Raptor Ambi Charging Handle
Magpul MOE+ Grip
Magpul Stock
Magpul MBUS back up sights
Magpul MLOK vertical grip
Holosun Red dot
Strike Industries Pivot Pins
PSA dust cover
Helius Tactical 1776 Muzzle

Upgrades to come:
Strike Industries Mlok covers
Strike Industries Trigger Guard
Bravo Co or Magpul angled foregrip
Flashlight & mount

Just got back from my first trip to the range with this rifle. Exceeded all expectations. Quality components period, not just "for the price". The grip and stock weren't my cup of tea, but a trip to the store and 70$ later I installed a Magpul CTR stock and MOE grip (looks great in ODG) and it was perfect. It's the perfect rifle for someone that wants a good foundation to upgrade slowly over time. The trigger is okay, a little gritty but not bad to start with. A timney group is next on my list. This rifle has officially turned me into a PSA fan. Will definitely refer others and buy from them again in the future.

Experience: carried one professionally for 8 years and have several.

1st AR Purchase
Had shot ARs twice before, but this was my first time buying one for myself. Was trying to decide between SW MP Sport II (friend has one) and the PA-15, and after lots of reseach went with the PA-15. Glad I did it, gun is very sturdy(friend's MP Sport II seemed to wobble), shot great the second time I went to the range (more on that in a second), and looks great too. Only issue I had with it was that it was extremely tight out of the box, BCG and CH specifically. Broke it down and lubed before first range trip, but it kept locking up and not fully charging when there. Evently just left cause I was the only one there and a hyper RO would not stop breathing down my neck and telling me "you should send it back". After some reading, re-lubed it and did the CH "jack off" method mentioned in a lot of AR forums for stiff CH and BCG. Now she's smooth as butter and runs like a charm at the range!
