The design concept mirrors that of our competition seating die, where the cartridge case is fully supported and aligned with the sizing bushing prior to the commencement of the sizing process. During the sizing operation, the cartridge case remains supported within the tightly chambered sliding sleeve as it ascends, while the resizing bushing self-centers on the case neck. The decapping rod is precisely aligned by utilizing the die's internal components as linear support, akin to a firing pin. The micrometer adjustment provides precise control over the desired neck length to be sized. This die is specifically designed for use by competition shooters who meticulously prepare their cartridge cases and prefer not to use a sizing button.
