- The Pro Series seating die is a specialized seating die with a large entry radius and a standard bullet seating plug but does not provide any bullet crimping ability, offering precise seating without crimping
Features
The Pro Series Die Set is expertly designed for progressive reloading machines, combining efficiency and precision to meet the needs of serious reloaders. It includes the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C) for smooth and reliable resizing, but does not include an expander die (EXP), as most progressive machines handle case mouth expansion at the powder drop station. A specially crafted seating die (PRO ST) with a large entry radius is included to simplify bullet alignment, though it does not provide crimping capability. To address this, the set includes a dedicated bullet crimping die (CR), available in either a Profile Crimp or Taper Crimp configuration, as detailed in the accompanying chart. While designed with progressive presses in mind, the Pro Series Die Set also performs exceptionally well with single-stage presses when used with a separately purchased expander die. For optimal results, crimping should always be performed as a separate step after seating the bullet. This versatile set delivers the precision and performance required for creating high-quality, consistent handloads.
