Designed around a removable serialized stainless steel Fire Control Insert, the Ruger RXM 9mm Luger uses an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip to support flexibility and future customization. Most major components are designed for Gen 3 compatibility with off-the-shelf parts, holsters, and accessories, giving it broad support for real-world ownership. For shooters wanting a modern optic ready 9mm pistol, the slide allows direct optic mounting for RMR, DPP, and RMSc pattern optics without additional adaptor complexity.

The Magpul EHG uses a 3/4-scale TSP texture for a secure hold without discomfort, plus indexing pads for consistent finger and thumb placement. Additional grip enhancements include a low-profile flared magazine well, trigger guard undercut, and beavertail to promote a high grip for better recoil control, along with a magazine release scallop and universal accessory rail for lights and lasers. The pistol features an extended magazine release, raised slide stop, and a flat-faced striker-fired trigger with a smooth pull and tactile reset, backed by integrated trigger safety and an internal striker blocker for added security.
