The 2008 or later stainless models are compatible with Mini-14 rifles that feature a factory flanged 0.625 inches diameter barrel manufactured from 2008 onwards or with a serial number prefix of 580 or higher. Similarly, Mini Thirty rifles with either the older factory straight pencil 0.625 inches diameter barrel or the new factory flanged 0.625 inches diameter barrel are also compatible with these models.
