Introducing the Heatseeker, an inventive and cost-effective chassis system designed to enhance your bolt action rifle. This upgrade provides a seamless transformation from a conventional factory rifle stock to a contemporary, stylish appearance, while boosting versatility. This specific Heatseeker model is tailored for 0.308 based calibers (including 7.62 x 51/0.308 Winchester, 7 mm-08 Remington, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .260 Remington, .243 Winchester, and more). It is meticulously crafted to be compatible with 3rd generation Savage short action series 10/110 centerfire rifles. These rifles should possess both center-feed magazine compatibility and action screw hole spacing of 4.4 inches (H-prefix and later), with a production date of 2006 or later. Machined from a single billet of robust 6061-T6 aluminum, this chassis weighs 1 lb and 3 oz Included is a distinctive 14 inches handguard, weighing 10 oz, that's meticulously cut from an exclusive extrusion shape unique to Sharps Bros. Both the chassis body and handguard showcase a matte black Cerakote finish. The handguard features MLOK slots on all four sides to accommodate various attachments such as lights, bipods, night vision, and ARCA rail. Additionally, it offers two quick disconnect fittings per side for easy sling attachment.
