Our steel mag catch is specifically optimized for use with the Shield Arms Patented S15 magazine, ensuring a smooth and reliable performance. While it is compatible with plastic OEM magazines, prolonged use may lead to increased wear on plastic options and OEM mags may not drop free. For the best results, we recommend using steel with steel or plastic with plastic. If you currently have a first-generation aluminum mag catch, please note that it may not function properly with the Gen 2 and Gen 3 S15 mags. We highly recommend upgrading to one of our steel mag catch offerings for optimal compatibility and durability.
