The design incorporates aggressive lightening cuts on both the top and sides of the slide, effectively reducing the weight in front of the chamber, thereby enhancing the recoil balance point. The slide is pre-cut for optics and includes a fiber optic front sight along with a blacked-out serrated rear sight. Additionally, the competitor is fitted with an oversized magazine release, which is reversible to accommodate both right and left-handed users and it is supplied with four magazines. It offers a 10+1 round capacity and is available with either a tungsten gray cerakote or black Armornite slide finish.
