The Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE is a suppressor-ready .223/5.56 NATO rifle built around Gemtech’s GVAC mid-length gas system, which greatly reduces gas blowback and clears your sight picture when shooting suppressed. A GVAC-profile barrel ensures neutral balance even when accessories or suppressors are added. The bolt carrier group, crafted from Carpenter 158 steel with nickel-boron bolt extension and a chromed firing pin, features optimized geometry for reliable cycling in dusty or sandy environments. This Performance Center rifle includes a flat-face enhanced duty trigger with a nickel-boron hammer and polished sear engagement points, delivering consistent finger placement and a clean break. Fully ambidextrous controls—including the bolt catch, mag release, and safety selector—provide seamless operation from either shoulder. A Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle and Magpul grip with interchangeable palm-swells enhance ergonomics and control. The Armornite-finished 4150 CMV steel barrel is rifled 1:8 with 5R contours to minimize bullet deformation and boost accuracy potential. Finished in all-black with Williams folding sights and a Magpul CTR stock, the M&P15 AXE blends tactical utility, precision engineering, and suppressor performance in one platform.
