The concealed weapon permit course is designed for all residents to carry a handgun openly or concealed. We will teach you the basics of how to properly store, carry and use your firearm. You will also be instructed on the laws and the responsibilities of the CWP holder. This course will provide the student with the required training to apply for a CWP.
- Handgun of choice.
- If you don’t have your own, a rental can be provided at no cost. Ammo for the rental must be purchased from the range.
- Eye and ear protection will be provided if you don’t have your own.
- Appropriate range clothing is required—no open-toed shoes or sleeveless shirts.
- We will be firing approximately 50 rounds of brass-cased ammunition.
