Likely Best Conceal Carry 9mm on the Market
First, the gun is easy to control. It doesn't jump out of your hand. Second, the size is comparable to the Sig P365, but with a higher capacity. Third, my son and wife hit targets better with it, than with my XD9. I cant find anything wrong with it.

Love It!
I don't like to buy guns without at least seeing and holding them first. I took a chance on the Hellcat OSP based on quite a few reviews. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever! For as small as it is, it feels great in my hand with the 13 round mag and still has a shorter grip than my Shield 9mm. The capacity speaks for itself, but the recoil and trigger is something you have to experience for yourself. The trigger has some light travel, then once that's taken up it's a fairly short crisp pull. The reset isn't as good as my MR9 Eagle, but still plenty short enough and you can easily feel it. I was surprised mostly by the recoil! There is less felt recoil and muzzle lift in my Hellcat than there is with my MR9 Eagle full frame. I ordered a Sig Romeo Zero 3 MOA that "should" ship later this week. It's been on order since the 3rd week of December. I'm really looking forward to getting that mounted! All in all, this is an all around great gun that had a lot of thought and design put into it.
First day at the range.
Tritium night sight surrounded by fiber optic.

Outstanding concealed carry option!
Outstanding concealed carry option!
This little gun definitely took me a little to get used to. I have gone through several guns trying to find the best concealed carry for me. In the winter I carry a Glock 19x when I’m not worried about printing because I can wear thicker clothing. In the warmer months I carry a Smith & Wesson shield. I’ve also tried a Glock 26 which is a great gun, but a little fat for my liking. This hellcat has replaced my shield. The stippling is very comfortable. The front and rear serrations are great and not overly aggressive against your skin when you carry. I ordered the new Sig Romeo zero to put on this hellcat and am currently waiting on it. I have a vortex venom, but it doesn’t fit on the hellcat and I didn’t want to drop another $400 on the rmsc.
The sights are great on the hellcat and make it easy to acquire a target quickly.
It’s very light and comfortable to carry. It is a snappy little thing but easy enough to control. I definitely need to shoot it more since I’m so used to carrying guns with a longer grip from front to back. The grip on the hellcat just feels different in the hand.
I’m looking forward to trying out the red dot when it comes in.

Great Pocket Gun
I come from pocket carrying a Smith and Wesson 5 shot PD340 in 357 magnum. I am 6.2 255 pounds of fat American. I have tried IWB holster around my person and I cannot stand it. Pocket carry is all I do since SC seems like we will never go to open carry.

My Hellcat ate 200 fioccie 115 grain round nose and 20 Hornsby critical defense 115 grain with no problem. The gun is snappy but nothing like my PD340. The gun was accurate at 7 yards and 10 yards from head shots to center body mass shots.

Size is great. The sights are easy to pick up. Slide release was very hard to use with just one hand but got easier after 100 rounds. Mags were great and mag release was easy to use one handed. Mags were ejected just fine. Trigger pull was great. Loud click reset. Blows my hammer fired Kel-Tec P11 out of the water. I could feel the trigger blade safety as I depressed the trigger but that is how it is. Mine did not interfere with the function of the firearm like I have heard from a few other reviews. Grip was great and I will not need talon grips put on like I did with my P11. Slide serrations are very functional both front and back.

I only pocket carry and carry this with its 13+1 extended mag. I carried this way to Virginia for the rally and was comfortable 5 hour drive up 5 hour stay there and another 5 hour drive back to Lugoff SC. It was comfortable the entire time. I use a Kydex PJ pocket holster. This holster is one of the few I found online that can be configured for lights and lasers. It took less then a week to get this custom pocket holster. It took a week and a half to get it from PSA that it was shipped to as well. The combo is my EDC now.

If you are looking for capacity in a small snappy package I highly recommend the Springfield Hellcat. This is my first Springfield and will look to this company for other gun needs.

Nice little pistol
Great little pistol. Shoots wonderfully and live the capacity. I have not mounted an optic on it yet but stocks sites are decent. Purchase thru Springfield LE/Mil pricing if you’re eligible.
