When Spyderco first introduced the limited edition Sprint Run Shaman with brown canvas Micarta scales and CPM Cru-Wear blade steel, the response was overwhelming. This combination, affectionately named "CruCarta," quickly became a beloved classic, blending timeless materials with high-performance capabilities. To meet the strong demand, we decided to transition these models from limited editions to full-line products. Starting with the Para Military 2 and now expanding to include four additional USA-made models, each knife features skeletonized full stainless steel liners and sleek brown canvas Micarta scales. The CPM Cru-Wear tool steel blades offer exceptional edge retention and toughness, perfect for demanding tasks. The scales are meticulously sanded smooth but intentionally left unpolished, allowing them to naturally develop a unique patina over time, enhancing their individual character with each use. We're proud to continue this tradition of craftsmanship and performance in our elite "CruCarta" family of knives.
