Exclusively from Taylor's, the Short Stroke revolver action is an improved action allowing for shorter travel distance when the hammer is pulled back. A Short Stroke action is ideal for easier use and faster shooting. This Runnin' Iron® model features a forged steel case hardened frame, blued steel parts, a checkered Navy size grip, wide trigger, and a lower & wider hammer spur. The Taylor Polished action on the short stroke revolvers includes hand polishing on most internal parts and some spring modification, however the spring pressure is left at factory settings for optimal performance.
