The Vortek StrikerFire VAPR, a break-action black powder rifle with a legacy of excellence, takes your hunting to new distances with its impressive 1:20 twist rate. Featuring a 28 inches VAPR ultralight chromoly tapered and fluted barrel, the rifle is designed for extended range, making 200-yard shots a realistic option. The TAC2 Trigger System, Accelerator breech plug, Dual Safety System and Speed Load System ensure optimal performance with every shot. For precise long-range hunting, the included Traditions 3-9x40mm scope enhances accuracy and reach. Accessing the breech plug is made easy by simply breaking open the action, which also automatically de-cocks the rifle for safety. Loading is simple with a 209 primer inserted into the breech plug after you've loaded the powder charge and projectile. The StrikerFire System allows you to cock the rifle with a quick slide of the striker button, while the recessed de-cocking buttons offer a quiet and efficient way to decock. Hogue Comfort-Grip Overmolding ensures comfort, control and excellent handling, while the Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camouflage and Cerakote finish blend seamlessly with your environment.
