Is it normal for the manufacturer to be so wishy washy with jacket specs? What’s with this...”Copper or bimetal jacket”?!

BEST ANSWER: Well tula is a Russian company, so that could be part of the problem there. Anyway the bimetal jacket refers to the fact that tula and other russian ammunition uses jackets that are not all copper, they typically consist of the lead core then a thin steel jacket then a thin jacket of either copper or I believe sometimes zinc, it is primarily a cost saving measure due to cheaper materials.

I won't buy it again, ever!
This may be limited to my specific rifle but I tried several brands and several quality/ price points of ammo and this stuff was the worst. The steel cased ammo wouldn't feed nor extract consistently. 2nd round jammed consistently. I ended up burning this stuff by loading 1 round at a time in each magazine, fire, swap mags, fire, swap mags, reload, repeat.... You know how long it takes to fire 40 rounds that way? I will never buy this stuff again.
