These pellets are slightly larger than the firearm's caliber, ensuring they are compressed upon entering the barrel, thereby making full contact with the bore. This efficient system facilitates the cleaning of rifle and handgun barrels with minimal effort and mess. To use, place two felt pellets onto the Dewey VFG cleaning rod adapter (compatible only with Dewey male threaded rods), apply your preferred solvent and push through the bore to effectively remove fouling. The pellets fit snugly within the bore and seamlessly follow the rifling for quick and efficient cleaning. As the rod is withdrawn, the front pellet detaches while the rear pellet polishes the bore. This system enables the easy application of oil, cleaning solvents or J-B bore cleaner with minimal mess.
