One critical issue is the OEM magazine base pad, which is undersized and ineffective if an empty magazine fails to drop due to various real-world conditions. The VT Magazine Floor Plates address this by featuring flared edges with grooved, non-slip scallops for secure finger grip. These plates facilitate the easy extraction of stubborn magazines, even when contaminated with mud, ice or sand. They are also ideal for one-handed reloads, simply hook the magazine floor plate under your belt for quick removal. Molded dimples allow for straightforward marking and numbering of magazines. These floor plates are compatible with Glock magazine calibers .22LR, 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 Sig and .45 GAP, but are not suitable for early Gen 1 non-metal lined magazines. They are compatible with Gen 5 models 17, 19, 19X, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 31, 34, 35, 44, 45, 47 and 49.
