The Competition bolt package includes an exact edge extractor tailored for MKII, MKIII and MK IV models, alongside the SureStrike firing pin compatible with MKI, MKII, MKIII and MK IV. Additionally, it features our innovative recoil rod for MKII, MKIII, MK IV and 22/45 models, pre-installed with a standard rate spring. For further customization, the package includes reduced power and heavy springs, allowing you to fine-tune your shooting experience. An extended bolt racker is machined integrally into the bolt, facilitating smoother manual cycling and eliminating the risk of pinched fingers. The bolt is case-hardened and treated with DLC, a premium finish that enhances hardness, reduces residual stress and increases lubricity. This treatment results in a low coefficient of friction, improved wear resistance and significantly reduced lubrication requirements. The package includes three color-coded springs for easy identification. It arrives assembled with our bright-finish, standard rate spring, serving as a direct replacement for the Ruger KA-57 recoil assembly. For high-velocity ammunition, a gold, heavy-weight spring is provided. A dark-coated, reduced-power spring is also included, ideal for achieving softer recoil with standard velocity ammo and compatible with most subsonic ammo, though not suitable for 22 short or CCI Quiet ammo.
