It boasts an urban & black Speckle color scheme. The Mark V Hunter's barreled action is threaded at 1/2 x 28, allowing for compatibility with suppressors or brakes. An added layer of Cobalt Cerakote safeguards the action against diverse environmental elements. The bolt, featuring deep fluting and a removable knob, not only reduces weight but also enhances dust and debris clearance while facilitating smoother functionality. With a broad selection of cartridges available, the Mark V Hunter accommodates both Weatherby magnum chamberings and American classics. Engineered as one of the world's sturdiest actions, the Mark V incorporates a unique multi-lug bolt system inspired by the interrupted thread lockup style. It comes in both standard and magnum action sizes, with the standard version featuring a six-lug design and the magnum boasting nine locking lugs. These design choices enable the actions to confidently handle the most potent commercially available cartridges. For added safety, three rings of steel encircle the cartridge's base when it's in battery, complemented by a fully enclosed bolt shroud and three gas relief ports in the bolt body designed to vent pressure in the event of ammunition failure.
