Vanguard barrels undergo cold hammer forging, enhancing their accuracy and reliability beyond that of other rifles in the same price range. To validate this claim, all Vanguard are ensured to produce a 3-shot group of 0.99 inches or smaller at 100 yd (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when utilizing Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. The Sporter model features a 3-position safety, two-stage trigger and fluted bolt body. Every Vanguard model is equipped with a one-piece machined bolt body and a completely enclosed bolt sleeve. Additionally, they are fitted with an integral recoil lug and a hinged floorplate.
