The XS Scout Rail for the Ruger Gunsight Scout rifle is made from billet aircraft aluminum and has a hard coat anodized finish. This XS Sights long rail installs using the Ruger factory mounting holes on your GunSite Scout Rifle. However, the long rail does extends over the receiver to give you more flexibility in mounting your optic. With the extended XS Long Rail you can mount you optics in either the traditional position, over the receiver, or out in front of the receiver.

The XS Long rail does not requiring any gunsmithing because it uses factory mounting locations. Mounting hardware and a rear ghost ring sight are included.
