The R-ONE handguards are precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, built for performance while minimizing weight for your lightweight firearm builds. Equipped with our proprietary Aero taper lock attachment system, the handguard boasts an ultra-slim profile without compromising strength or durability. This system uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts to evenly distribute clamping pressure over a specially engineered barrel nut, secured by a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent ensures secure attachment and accurate installation. The design minimizes distortion during installation, offering a flawless fit every time. All necessary mounting hardware is included and the R-ONE is compatible with both M4E1 threaded upper receivers and most mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers, though it may not fit billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
