The R-ONE handguards, machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, are the perfect solution for those looking to reduce weight without sacrificing performance. Designed with our proprietary Aero taper lock attachment system, these handguards offer a slim profile and superior strength, ensuring a stable and reliable mounting platform. The Aero taper lock system uses two tapered locking nuts to evenly distribute clamping pressure, locking the handguard securely with a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the system, preventing distortion during installation. All necessary mounting hardware is included and the R-ONE is compatible with M4E1 threaded upper receivers and most mil-spec AR-15 uppers, though billet uppers may not fit due to indexing tabs.
