Crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, the R-ONE series of handguards are specifically engineered for lightweight builds, combining size and strength into a compact, durable package. Featuring our proprietary Aero taper lock Attachment system, this handguard maintains a slim profile while offering the same level of strength and stability that Aero Precision is known for. The Aero taper lock system is both functional and visually appealing, with two mirrored tapered locking nuts ensuring even clamping pressure across the custom barrel nut, secured by a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent guarantees a secure fit and precise installation, while the evenly distributed pressure prevents handguard distortion during setup. All mounting hardware is included with the R-ONE handguard, designed to work seamlessly with our M4E1 threaded upper receivers and most mil-spec AR-15 receivers. However, billet upper receivers may not be compatible due to indexing tabs.
