The S-ONE handguard, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, is built for lightweight performance while maintaining the durability you expect from Aero Precision. The Aero taper lock attachment system ensures a secure, stable connection with a sleek, low-profile design. It uses two tapered locking nuts for even clamping pressure across a custom barrel nut and features a turnbuckle screw for added security. The ratcheting detent provides positive registration during installation, ensuring no distortion. All hardware is included with the purchase and the handguard is designed to fit M4E1 threaded upper receivers and most mil-spec AR-15 receivers. Note that it may not work with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
