Features
For lightweight builds, the S-ONE handguards, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, offer the ideal solution, ensuring strength and a slim profile. The Aero taper lock attachment system combines durability with aesthetic appeal, using two tapered locking nuts to apply even clamping pressure across a custom barrel nut, all secured with a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent ensures the handguard stays secure and properly aligned during installation. The design prevents the handguard from distorting during installation, which is a common issue with other systems. Mounting hardware is included and the handguards are compatible with M4E1 threaded and mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers, though they may not work with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
- Picatinny rail system for both front and rear positions
- The central section of the top rail has been removed to reduce weight
- Indexing grooves positioned at the 12:00 orientation ensure enhanced grip control
- Quick-detach sling sockets are located at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions
- Compatible with low-profile gas blocks
- 1.3 inches internal diameter
- Outside diameter - 1.5 inches
- Designed to be compatible with military specification AR-15 upper receivers and barrels
