Crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, the S-ONE series of handguards are designed to be the ideal choice for lightweight builds, focusing on both size and weight reduction. The handguards feature Aero Precision's proprietary Aero taper lock Attachment system, offering a strong and reliable mounting platform while maintaining a sleek, slim profile. This system combines two mirrored tapered locking nuts to distribute clamping pressure evenly across a custom-designed barrel nut, secured with a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent adds an extra layer of security, ensuring proper alignment during installation. Thanks to its even pressure design, the Aero taper lock Attachment system prevents handguard distortion, a common issue with other setups. Each S-ONE handguard comes complete with all necessary hardware for mounting. These handguards are optimized for a seamless fit with our M4E1 threaded upper receivers but are also compatible with any mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers, though they may not fit billet receivers due to indexing tabs.
