Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, the S-ONE handguards are engineered for lightweight builds that demand both performance and durability. The Aero taper lock attachment system maintains a slim profile while delivering maximum strength and reliability. Two mirrored tapered locking nuts provide even clamping pressure on a custom barrel nut, which is secured with a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent locks the system in place for added security. The Aero taper lock system helps prevent handguard distortion by evenly distributing pressure, an issue often encountered with other systems. The handguards include all necessary mounting hardware and are compatible with M4E1 threaded and mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers, but may not fit billet receivers due to indexing tabs.
