Great to have any extra
There are some parts I like to have extras of. This is one of them. It is nice to have an extra rear take down pin in the kit. It didn't cost that much, and is handy to have ready for the moment when you take apart a rifle a bit too quickly and misplace the pin you had in the rifle.
