The Archangel AA1500SA is a precision stock designed for Howa or Smith & Wesson 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard short action rifles in cartridges based on the 0.308/7.62 x 51 with a maximum overall length of 2.815. This stock includes one type D - Archangel precision short action (7) round polymer magazine with a (5) round limiter based on the 0.308 Win (AA133-05). Crafted for modern precision shooting, this stock is both lightweight and slim, making it suitable for the range or field. It features an ergonomic gooseneck style grip with palm swells, along with a locking storage compartment. The ventilated forend is contoured and textured for a secure grip and it offers two M-LOK slots on the bottom for attaching accessories like a rail, bipod or light. The cheek riser is click adjustable with 1-1/2 inches travel in 0.05 inches increments, while the length of pull ranges from 13.5 to 14.6 inches to ensure a comfortable fit for each shooter. The buttstock is equipped with a textured, contoured recoil pad and off-hand pressure hook, enhancing control and feel. The barrel channel accommodates varmint-barrel sized contours and allows for free-floating. For added convenience, the stock features three steel QD style flush-fit hard points for attaching QD style sling swivels (sling swivels not included). Constructed from high-strength, carbon fiber and glass-reinforced black polymer, the AA1500SA is weather-resistant and can withstand standard gun solvents and oils. This stock is built to endure harsh conditions while maintaining consistent accuracy over time.
