Features
At Area 419, we identified a need for powder cups that were neither undersized nor flimsy. With the increasing popularity of the auto-trickler system and the addition of the auto-throw system, it became essential to develop a solution that excelled in both functionality and design. Introducing the Area 419 billet powder cup. Precision-crafted from billet 6061 aluminum and weighing just over 700 grain, this cup boasts a water weight capacity exceeding 750 grain. It is capable of accommodating nearly three full .50 BMG loads simultaneously. While it is not advisable to triple-charge a .50 Cal, the oversized cup effectively contains powder and prevents splashing from dispensers that release powder from above, provided a flow-restricting device, such as the straws included in the Auto-Throw kit, is used. Without such a restriction, only a cup with a diameter of approximately 5 inches can effectively contain splashing when dispensing from above.
- The device can also serve as a shot glass for those interested, although this was not its intended design purpose
- The cup has an approximate diameter of 2 inches and a height of 2 inches
- The handle protrudes approximately 3 inches
