This system addresses several issues associated with universal plastic powder funnels. The interchangeable heads of the Area 419 funnel thread onto the funnel and are specifically designed for each caliber's neck diameter. They do not rely on fitting over the case body to remain in place. Instead, they are slightly larger than the neck diameter to ensure a secure fit on the case. Each head features a bore that is a few thousandths of an inches smaller than the bullet diameter, optimizing flow for each caliber. This feature is particularly beneficial for users of super ultra magnum calibers (e.g., .375 Cheytac, .408 Cheytac, .50 BMG). The interface between the heads and the funnel is engineered to prevent any kernels from becoming lodged between the two, provided the head is fully tightened.
