Originally conceived in response to requests for an M-LOK version of our Finger Stop designed for picatinny rails, the Indexer features a sleek front-to-back profile with gentle radii on both faces. Its primary function is to be positioned between the index and middle fingers, typically toward the front of the handguard. This placement ensures the Indexer remains unobtrusive during transitions to kneeling or prone shooting positions, where the support hand moves rearward. By keeping it forward on the handguard, it facilitates easier rifle manipulation and enhances control while shooting, helping users maintain a secure grip and optimal shoulder contact. Additionally, the wider and flatter profile of the Indexer serves effectively as both a hand stop and barricade stop. It also acts as a forward limit, preventing fingers from inadvertently slipping off shorter handguards onto potentially hot surfaces like barrels or suppressors.
