B&T’s APC308 PRO is an ideal candidate for conversion into a short barreled rifle (with proper paperwork), and offers the same Swiss-made precision all B&T products are known for. Like all of the firearms in the APC family, the APC308 PRO is equipped with hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer system which greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy, as well as a cold-hammer forged barrel with a remarkably long service life. The result is a weapon that is controllable on rapid fire, accurate and comfortable to shoot. Another feature that all APC units share is AR15-style controls such as the ambidextrous selector switch, the ergonomics, and trigger assembly – these similarities make for a better shooting experience for someone already acquainted with AR-platforms.

In terms of customization, the APC308 PRO features a 12 o’clock picatinny rail with plenty of space for optics and iron sights, and a 6 o’clock picatinny rail allows the installation of lights, lasers, and other accessories. The APC308 PRO’s handguard is ventilated to allow the barrel to cool off faster during prolonged firing, and an adjustable gas block can be used to optimize suppressed fire or different ammunition sights. In addition, the APC308 PRO features a birdcage-style flash hider and ships with (1) 20 round magazine.
