B&T has integrated the exceptional accuracy of their renowned APR platform with the substantial sound suppression capabilities of the SPR300 to introduce the APR8.6. Chambered in the potent yet easily suppressed 8.6 Blackout cartridge, the APR8.6 features an advanced integral suppressor akin to the SPR300, utilizing the same chassis and receiver configuration from the APR series. This combination results in a rifle capable of precise target engagement and intermediate barrier penetration at distances up to 400 yd - all accompanied by an almost silent report and minimal flash signature. The APR8.6's all-metal lower receiver serves as a robust chassis onto which all rifle components are assembled or attached. This lower receiver also functions as an unconventional bedding surface for the upper receiver, which houses the barrel, fire control group and bolt group. The bolt operates with exceptional smoothness, requiring only a 60 degree rotation for rapid follow-up shots. The trigger module is detachable and features a two-stage trigger that can be externally adjusted for pull weight (3lb - 5lb) and trigger path without needing disassembly. For enhanced accuracy and user adaptability, the APR8.6 includes a folding stock with an adjustable butt plate and length-of-pull spacer system, along with a fully adjustable cheek-rest. This stock versatility allows the APR8.6 to be customized to suit the preferences and needs of virtually any shooter, ensuring optimal comfort and control in various operational scenarios.
