The enhanced 1301 Tactical refines a proven duty platform with controls and features tuned for rapid, reliable operation in law enforcement and home defense roles. A cold hammer-forged back-bored 18.5 inch barrel and Beretta BLINK gas system with cross tube gas piston produce fast, consistent cycling and reduced recoil impulse for quicker follow-up shots. Enlarged controls include an oversized charging handle, large textured bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety to simplify manipulation under stress or while wearing gloves. An aggressive checkered forend and a standard fixed stock promote secure handling and stable pointability.

Out of the box the shotgun ships optic-ready on an aircraft-grade aluminum MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and features a protected ghost ring sight set with an interchangeable front sight for adaptable sighting options. The factory magazine tube accepts 2.75 inch shells and provides a 7 plus 1 capacity with standard shells, noting some longer shells may reduce capacity to 6 plus 1. The shotgun includes an OptimaBore HP Improved Cylinder choke in flush configuration and a fixed choke option for general duty use. Finished and configured for dependable field service, the enhanced 1301 Tactical pairs rapid cycling, ergonomic controls, and recoil-mitigating barrel geometry into a compact, mission-focused package.
