Known for its exceptional performance, the VLD Target Rifle Bullet incorporates a secant ogive design that reduces drag as it travels toward the target. This reduction in drag is what enables the VLD to shoot flatter, experience less wind-drift and maintain higher retained velocity compared to other bullets. A favored loading technique for the VLD is to touch the rifling for single-shot applications, although some rifles may prefer a jump of up to .150 inches from the rifling.
