Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce the 1911 Pistol line with our PSA Stainless Two-tone 1911.    Not your basic 1911, this model comes loaded with features found on higher priced models:  Front and rear slide serrations, a skeletonized trigger, Combat hammer, beaver tail grip safety, extended thumb safety, and high visibility 3 dot sights.  While a production gun, the crisp trigger, and close tolerances give the look and feel of a hand fitted pistol, while retaining the reliability of a production weapon.

We start with a matte finish stainless steel frame, and add a forged 4140 steel slide, blued for durability.  The stainless steel barrel is hand fitted for high reliability and solid lockup.  The skeletonized trigger has an adjustable stop, and the thumb and grip safeties are extended for easier use.

From its polished sides to its subdued branding, the PSA Stainless Two-tone1911 delivers the value Palmetto State Armory customers have come to expect.

Very nice
Shoots perfectly, no issues at all after 500+ rounds. Very good looking unit, and is spot on accurate. Can spend more but cant get much more accurate.

no blems here
I skipped the blems and bought a new stainless for the same price. It functions perfectly and is my favorite shooter. I have others Kimber, Remington, etc and they are no better in looks or performance. I'm really pleased with my purchase and think I got a heck of a deal.

I bought this as my first 1911. Disappointment was quick. Got it home from FFL and quickly realized front sight was badly bent and had a large burr on the sight dovetail as well. Immediately sent email & had no response a week later. Sent more emails for follow-up. No response so I made the call to customer service. Sat on hold for 50 minutes and gave up. Called next day and got rep. Agreed on plan to send pics so I could get a new sight. Sent pics with no response for another week. Had to call again to be told I had to ship it back. Got it back and new sight is straight but the attempt to remove the burr on the dovetail resulted in bad scuff marks on the slide and not to mention that some of the burr still remains! Poor workmanship to say the least. I have nearly $650 invested in a dream gun that I'm ashamed to show off I'm now wishing I'd spent a little more to get a S&W or Remington or anything besides this!

Response from Palmetto State Armory
Any of our "Blemished" models will have various degrees of cosmetic imperfections. These issues are cosmetic only and do not effect functionality or safety. Some "Blems" can have almost no visible flaws up to quite obvious ones. If you were unsatisfied with the condition of the firearm when you arrived at your FFL to complete the transfer, you could have refused the transfer and, if you requested it, we could have had the firearm returned to us and either refunded your money or shipped another one to you. Your firearm is backed by our Unlimited Lifetime Warranty, which means that PSA firearms and parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for the serviceable lifetime of the firearm or part. If you have any further issues with any part of that firearm that impacts the functionality, please contact us again.

"Blemished" not what I expected.
I ordered what I thought would be a "new" pistol with minor manufacturing blemish(s). What I received looked a lot more like a returned used pistol. Visually more obvious wear on the barrel than from firing a test round (Note said no test round case included). Grimy and dirty. Came in a dirty opened plastic bag with smudges and fingerprints all over it. A lot more "blemishes" than I thought it would have including edges worn on the grip safety. What surprised me the most was that the frame is a very dark grey rather than what's shown in the advertising picture. If I had the choice I would not have ordered it. I've bought many guns and accessories from PSA and have always been satisfied but I have to say I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

Love this gun.
I got my pistol in this week. I finally got to shoot it this morn. I love it. My only concern is that it is advertised with a stainless finish magazine and came with a black magazine. Can't beat this product.

Nice firearm
this is my first 1911 so I can't compare it to anything else!
To start off the pistol looks great the semi polished slide really sets it off. I found the reason mine was a blem small area in the trigger guard is kinda scuffed up not noticeable unless light hits it just right.
Ran 50 rounds thru it today and it did everything it's supposed to. All 50 rounds fired. I'm not a sharp shooter but I'm not a bad shoot either the groupings were about the same that I shoot with most pistols. Around 2 inch groupings with most in an inch.
Overall very pleased with this pistol!
